I keep trying to write my mom a "letter" for her birthday surprise (a memory bouquet), and she keeps talking to me...... then she comes and stands by the computer so I have to click off of the letter on to something else (and act interested in it.... which by the way, can't be the DIS..... she calls you guys my imaginary friends   ). Anyway, doesn't she know I trying to do something secret???? ;) Finally I just said..... you can't see the computer..... so instead she stands in the doorway telling me excessively long and detailed stories (so unlike her)...... ARGH.... she needs to go to bed. :p :p

P.S. I love her, and this was not a vent.... just a *sigh*/eye-rolling event.

LOL That always happens especially around here when Santa or the Easter Bunny is trying to use my computer to leave younger DS a letter.

Moms (especially older ones) can be like that, heavy sigh:rolleyes: Sounds like what you are doing is very admirable and hopefully she will get tired and go to bed real soon! We recently planned my DH's moms 80th b-day party. It was exhausting - Good Luck and Have Fun!

P.S. And we are NOT imaginary! These boards have some of the nicest people I have ever associated with:D

God bless you both! Cherish each day...:D

Oh, you don't have to tell me that!!

Awww, it's always like that when you're trying to keep a secret and do something special on the sly to make someone's day! It's when you're bored to death and need something to do or someone to talk to that everyone gets quiet and wants to be left alone. :p

I hope she has a fantastic day! I wish I were born on the 4th of July! I would claim all the fireworks and celebrations/parties for myself! :p :bounce:

Sorry Fishy†. But I agree, that it is like that around here too when Santa and the Easter Bunny want to do stuff, it seems there is always an exciteable little boy around. I hope you got her carted off to bed!

Debbie (your favorite imaginary friend in Mass ;) )

I would claim all the fireworks and celebrations/parties for myself!

She does Saffron! And all of the grandchildren until about 5 or 6 years old believe that the fireworks are for her!!! Currently little Co-Co is her victim. :p :p

I am actually quite imaginary.

Every now and then I need to get a recharge...
;)

Fish - I do hope you can find the time to complete it...:)
