Siggy Question

For my signature I would like to upload a few icons from my computer that are saved, how do I do that, the icons in there now, I copied the URL from a website. Can any one out there help me? I'm sure someone can...

Umm..upload them on photobucket...and copy and paste the url to your siggy.. You must no how..you have images in your siggy.

Yes I know how to use photobucket, I was just wondering if there was anyway to get them directly from the folder on my comp to my sig w/o photobucket, I guess I should have said that.

actually your wrong. if it is saved in your my pictures folder on your computer at the bottom of the page there is a button that says browse. click that and open your folder and click on the pict. double click it. then click on the button that says insert signature picture. and that is how you do it!

Thanks! I'll hafta look for that, i actually updated my sig through photobucket, but next time I am definatly going to use this way, sounds much easier to me! This is just was I was looking for! Thanks Speedydisteen, sorry I don't know your real name!

im not quite sure, i havent been in that situation before, but watch how many pics you have, because im not sure if the limits 3 or 4, maybe even 5, but we dont need anyone getting in trouble around here, so be careful!

I've already tried doing it directly from the DIS.
It didn't work, and I wound up on photobucket.
It's not that much of a pain.

Photobucket is free. You can upload pictures from your desktop. It's easier than THIS site.

To search for pictures, no. To upload your own, yes.

Yes you do. It only takes a few seconds to sign up to photobucket and then you can upload to photobucket as many times as you want. Once you upload a picture it gives you the URL and the HTML and the forum code I think it is. Your best bet is to take the URL and type in

that way you can get it in your signature easily with no fuss. Good luck.

In your signature you are allowed up to 3 images.

I think the number is optional you dont have to fill it in. And the name and surname, if you just put in your initals that usualy works. Thats what I did.
