Is there a sidewalk between Ball Rd & the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure?

We are staying at the Super 8 on Ball Rd/Disneyland Drive and it says you can walk to the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure. It has been a while since we have parked at the M&F, I can not for the life of me remember if there is a sidewalk or not. Is there? Is it walkable?

Based on the satellite images of the area (from Google Earth) there is a sidewalk on Disneyland Drive. From the images, it looks like it might only be on the east side of the street from Ball to the parking structure cross walk.

I’m pretty sure there is a sidewalk on both sides of Disneyland Dr. The sidewalk closest to the parking structure follows the street up and over the bridge, and the sidewalk on the other side (east side) is ground level. There is also a crosswalk that crosses Disneyland Dr near the entrance of DTD in case you need it.

We did this last month from the Sheraton Anaheim (across the street from the Super 8). Cross Ball at the signal, follow Disneyland Dr. south (keep to the east side of the street) to the signal/crosswalk at Magic Way, cross over and look for the path opening on your right that leads to M&F.
After you cross Ball, as you are walking south on Disneyland Dr., see if the first gate is open (in the mornings it may be) -- you might get a peek at the horses doing their training. :)

I'm guessing about 10-15 minutes, depending on the signal at Ball (it's a long light). This was in very hot, humid weather, so in cooler weather, I think we would have been faster.

We've done both. If the traffic going into M&F is heavy, then walking is quicker (at least for us). If we're carrying lots of gear, then we'll drive and park. Generally, we prefer walking. It gets us warmed up for the parks, gives us a cool down/decompression time at the end of the day, and allows us to eat more churros!
