Sideshows What do you use?

I'm looking for a slideshow maker. It has to be a downloadable program rather than uploading my photos somewhere. I'd like the ability to pan (?) the pictures. I don't want fancy transitions, just fade is fine. I'd also like to be able to use music from iTunes. I use a PC, so I can't use iMovie.


Anyone use anything they really like? Or didn't like?

I use ProShow Gold, it has the ability to pan across images. However, slow panning doesn't always play well on a computer but it works fine once the show has been rendered to DVD format.

I'll second the ProShow gold. I got it when I saw Bob's wonderful show he posted here.... I have been very happy with it

I use PSE4 for slideshows, but be aware, iTunes is an (I believe) mp4 format and doesn't talk to any other software other than it's own. In order to use my itunes music I have to burn a CD of the songs I want to use and import them into Windows Media player as wmp. files. Then I can access and choose them for slideshow music.
