DS10 woke up this AM with a fever and extremely sore throat. DS12 had strep earlier in the week, so I'm guessing that's what it is. I'll call the Dr as soon as he opens and hopefully we can get in this AM. I have an appt to have my hair cut and colored today, but it looks like I'll need to reschedule.

ITA Sickness really stinks!

I just got back from the ER with my DS, he's been very sick for 3 days and didn't want to get out of bed, so finally I went in during the night and said that's it, we are going. He has strepp throat!

I kind of like to be sick, just bad enough to stay home from work but welll enough to go do stuff

Strep can make kids so sick, but at least when they start antibiotics, they usually feel better in 24 hours. DS12 tested positive for strep just before Christmas, took anticiotics, but got it back this week. Dr put him on stronger antibiotics so hopefully that will stop it from coming back. Someone mentioned giving him a new toothbrush as germs may linger in the one he used while sick - not sure if it's true, but easy enough to do.
