Sick over the holidays?

I was sick with a stomach bug over thanksgiving and now it is two days before christmas and I have another burst of nausea and feeling sick. With my luck I will be sick over christmas.

How many of you been sick over a holiday like christmas? How did you still make the best of it? I am about to go to the store and buy some anti nausea.

I'm sick it SUCKS, I'm just hoping I get better my tomorrow! I've been pumping myself with buckley's, tylenol, vitamin c, tea & chicken soup!!
I have a sore throat and a bad cough (to the point that it makes me vomit ) I felt a bit better yesterday, but today I'm feeling really sluggish and congested. GO AWAY SICKNESS!!

Last year I was sick the whole Christmas vacation. I had a terrible cough and my whole body was weak. Def. one of the worst experiences of my life. I had to pretend to be happy so I wouldn't bring anyone else down. It was def. terrible. Worst part? The day we went back to school, I was fine. So I was sick for two weeks, that's bad.

What I did was had lots of cough drops, took asprin, oh and had to put these drops in my ears because my ears were clogging up and I couldn't hear completely out of one of them so the drops helped clear it up.

Im sick and it stinks!!! i have a stuffy nose and a sore throat and a terrible cough!! I am not looking forward to Christmas with me being sick!! i have had it since Firday and i am tired of it!!!! I have been drinking lots of sunnyD and eating chicken noogle soup and taking medicine but it doesnt help at all!!

i always get a cold around this time, and ive had a bit of a throaty cough, and today its moved down into my chest, and its really hurting me :/ lets hope its ok for singing tomorrow in mass. when i was singing the beatles yesterday my voice sounded like a teenage boy going through puberty. im a 13 year old girl D: x

I was sick over my birthday like 2 weeks ago. I had a horrible cold, almost a sinus infection. I'm still a little congested and I still have a cough.

I hope all the sickies get better soon!!

Knock on wood. The only holiday I've ever been sick on was halloween 2 years ago. My parents were sick on CHRISTMAS last year, and it sucked.

I had the flu over christmas a few years ago, and believe me, it was horrible. I had to have a bowl next to me while we opened presents just incase I got an upset stomach, and after I just sort of laid on the couch all day. Not a very pleasant christmas. However, the pictures from that year are hilarious. I look like SUCH hot mess in all of them.

Thankfully this year I'm not, but I just got over a cold that cut it pretty close.
