Was wondering if others had been to the World and the whole party got sick.
Sparing the graphic details > DW, grandson and I were sick the whole time we were there this past December. DGS came home from school sick the day before we were to leave. Not good. Fever, cold, virus...... Needless to say we all had it within three days. We stayed at POR and actually stayed in the bed till 1pm one day. Unheard of before this trip. Mouskeeping was wonderful.
Purchased the dining plan. Tickets to MVMCP. You get the idea. We survived and made the best of it. Our PhotoPass pictures are hilrious (now). We look pitiful. Just wondering if others had stories and were able to continue and return to the scene of the crime on the next trip and laugh about it. DW is not laughing much right now. She'll go back but I'm afraid our time line problably got set back a little.
Didn't where to place a thread such as this sooooo........

that I couldn't make the long walk back. They had a courtesy van pick us up and take us back to AKL. I was in the first aid office. They took good care of me (we were at MK at the time). I had 103 degree fever, the chills, the spins everything. It lasted pretty much the whole trip although the fever did finally break early on in the trip. My DH had to get two boys ready for the park the next day by himself. It took him 2 hours to do it.
All I wanted to do was sleep, but was so upset, I decided to venture out despite what the doctor told me. I had tunnel vision, partly dehydrated and could only stomach the Mickey ice pops. (A yummy diet.) The only benefit was I ate a lot of ice cream and managed to lose 6 pounds. The only time I felt ok was on rides.
If I stood too long or stared off, I felt like I was flying. Like I said, it was a funky virus with bizarre neurological side effects.
Finally on the 3rd day I INSISTED on going to a clinic.
And well nope no ceasar salad for me.

. Not to highjack this thread just wanted to make
