Shuttle van transfer questions

Hi all..... thanks for your help in advance!

I'm ready to make a reservation for R/T transportation to/from the airport and ship and have a few questions. There are 5 adults and 2 kids in our party.

I know there is yourride.net, Tiffany Towncar and Happy Limo (most expensive). However I was doing a web search on transportation in the area and came across something very interesting. One website (not any mentioned on this board) stated that they "are one of only three companies in Orlando that have all the necessary Airport... Port Canaveral... and Driver permits... to provide round trip service between the airport and Port Canaveral. This is a very important issue, as any company can drop you off at the port but unless they have the necessary permits... they can't pick you up." So, I wonder why no one on this board has mentioned that they use this company (Absolute Limo). Are there any other companies out there that you've tried?

Anybody have this issue come up? Also, this brings up other good points:
Does yourride.net and Tiffany Towncar have:

* any hidden fees like airport tolls, port authority tolls, highway tolls, and taxes?
* Increases in price if stuck in traffic.
* included a grocery stop at no extra charge.
* able to accomodate a carseat for our baby.

Also, where does the driver meet you (and your bags) if we're staying at the Hyatt MCO?

Thanks so much!
Kristin

I would also like to know about any hidden fees. I just checked yourride.net and the price for a one way from MCO to port is only $80. I know I will add a tip to that, but was wondering if anyone had used them and if there were other charges.

We are a party of 9 with another family who has a 3 year old and an 8 mos old and would need two car seats....do they provide them and if so is there a charge???

MJ

We have used yourride twice, had great service and no surprises and certainly no hidden fees - highly recommended. Didn't ask for grocery stop but I believe they include one if you want. They'll pick you up at your hotel. Drop-off in December was right at the terminal entrance, pick-up is in the parking lot across the street. Don't know about car seats but its hard to imagine any transportation service in the Orlando area not being able to accomodate kids. Haven't had any traffic to contend with, its a straight highway drive from the airport.

Yes, I know, I sound like a broken record...
I have used other companies, and am now sold on Tiffany(plus they have a great name, conjures up images of Audrey Hepburn...what else could be better!) There are no hidden fees, tolls are not your worry, and they are BEYOND punctual. If you need a van, ask for Jerry...very attentive, GREAT driver (I am REALLY fussy about how people drive, I drive a big horse rig around at home, and some Orlando taxi drivers have scared the living daylights out of me!), and he doesn't just sit there in silence. Your kids will love him... Grocery stop is no problem either. I have always found them to be the most economical, have priced them all out. They have a website, call the 800 number and ask your questions, they have always been straight up with me...Say hi to my Jerry if you get him!

MJ and others...Tiffany has carseat in van...call and ask for rates, don't wait too long, Jerry is hard to get...( I am having a hard time biting my tongue here...) you will have to request him in advance.
