Shuttle launch viewing

IIRC, the location of Mission:Space actually puts it in the viewing area of any of the shuttle launches, so standing in front of it you would actually be able to see the launch 'rise' from behind the building.

We drove up to Cocoa Beach and saw an early morning launch. All I can say is "What an incredible sight!" I'd do it again in a heartbeat! When we show our pictures to our friends, they ask if we are sure it wasn't the sun rising!
