Looking for recommendation of a shared shuttle service from LAX to Disneyland area hotels and back. Not interested in a private car/Uber/Lyft. 2 adults.

We haven't been in years and just booked the Disneyland Resort Express Bus past , but that seems to not be in operation anymore.

If you dont want to do private car/Uber/Lyft there is another option.
  1. Free shuttle bus to Aviation and LAX station from outside the arrivals level of each terminal.
  2. At Aviation and LAX station take the C Line train to Norwalk
  3. At Norwalk train station take the 460 bus to Disneyland. The bus stop is at the pedestrian entrance on Harbour Boulevard.
  4. Walk to your hotel or take the ART bus.
I did this in June 2024 but the opposite direction from Disneyland to LAX.

How did this take you? Is it fairly safe?

I got the 1.30pm 460 bus at Disneyland and was in line at my airline check in for 4.00pm. I found it fine during the afternoon, but I am used to public transport. I am also used to to hauling my luggage on and off public transport.

I wouldnt do the journey when it is dark.

It’s safe but time consuming.

Alternatively, you can take the shuttle to the new LAX transportion center, take the C line to Norwalk, take a bus to the Metrolink station, take the Metrolink to Anaheim and take the ART to DLR. a Metrolink ticket (less than $10) will cover all modes, but it’ll take 3 to 3.5 hours.
