Shuttle from Kissimmee motel to WDW

We are staying at the Best Western Eastgate for two nights before our cruise. They provide transportation to WDW. From what I understand they will drop us off and pick us up at EPCOT. We will only have time for one park and that will be the Magic Kingdom. Can we take the monorail from EPCOT to MK. When and where do we pruchase the park tickets? How long does it take to get from one park to the other? Is this something that we can do or will we be better off renting a minivan for a day... there are 8 of us.

Lisa,
You can purchase the tickets right outside of Epcot, or, perhaps at your hotel.
You can ride the monorail from Epcot to MK, and it takes about 15-25 minutes. You will have to change trains at the Ticket and Transportation Center. It is really a nice ride and one I think everyone will enjoy.

Another option, take the monorail from Epcot to the T&T Center and hop the ferry over to the MK. That is absolutely awesome when you see the Castle get closer and closer.

Indeed, the Ferry is great. Especially if you catch the Ferry that has Chip & Dale, along with Pluto on it!!

Oh, I have yet to have that experience. But, I did ride a bus with Mike, who was an absolute character. Actually thought it might have been you, Tyler.
