I was wondering what is the best and cheapest shuttle company to get transportation from Mclarren to Planet Hollywood on the strip?

I'd recommend a cab. It should be under $20 (probably less than $18) and they won't charge per person like some of the shuttles. If you've got a lot of luggage, you could wait for a minivan or SUV.

The only worry I would have with a cab is if they don't take the "prescribed route" down The Strip as they're required by the taxi commission, unless they specifically get permission from the passengers and warn them that it will cost much more. Some will take the freeway ("long hauling") which may be a little bit faster, but racks up a lot more mileage and can even double the fare.

I got "long hauled" once on a business trip there, although my company paid all my expenses. On a later trip one driver was telling me about it, how they were required to take the most direct route by the taxi commission, and that he refused to cheat.

I've used showtime a few times and never had an issue. They're relatively cheap and the drivers are super friendly/helpful. http://www.showtimetourslv.com/AirportShuttle

Round trip is $13(plus a tip of course) to any hotel on the strip.

I have to second showtime. I used them when we went in Nov. They were never late & didnt have to wait & we even had to change the pick up location & they were flexiable.

I think all of the shuttle companies with counters outside the terminal except Supershuttle are $7 one way/$13.00 round trip, plus $.50 airport fee. They're all pretty equal, especially if you're solo and staying on one of the first south strip stops.
