It seems the consensus is not to use them but I have yet to hear from anyone that actually HAS used them. All the threads I've read about NOT using them seem to have rented a car and never used the shuttle. Has anyone out there actually USED THE SHUTTLE???? TIA!

The shuttle operates on a set schedule and you must reserve the day before. The question isn't what other people do, CAN you handle this kind of schedule? BTW most people I know who use a scheduled shuttle wind up taking a cab to fill in. Look at the current schdule and see if it will work FOR YOUR FAMILY.

Thanks for the reply LewisC but I was looking for personal experiences with the shuttle. I've seen the schedules on the HIFS site, I did do the research but I wanted to hear from people who have actually tried the shuttle. A lot of people have complained about the DTD hotel shuttles yet I've used them and found them to be acceptable. We used them in Dec. 2002, the week before Xmas and never had a problem, we just kept to the schedule. I just wanted to hear from "first hand" experience how the shuttle are.

YES, we used the shuttle.

We did rent a car but used the shuttle 2 days just to check it out. It ran on time and was very convenient. I know many people complain about it...I don't know why.

It does'nt run continueously but I don't think the schedule will be hard to work around.

Just to clarify though: We were there right after 911 so although the hotel was full the parks were not. The shuttle may have run differently then. Maybe someone who stayed recently could give you a better idea.
