Shuttle at Radisson

We have booked a room at the Radisson for the night before. They told me to call back the week before our arrival to schedule the pickup for the shuttle. Can someone tell me how this works with the shuttle. Do they take you to the port and drop you and your luggage with the porters? We have parked at the port before and drove in and left our bags with the porters and then DH would park the van and then meet us. Also, when you arrive back from the cruise do you have to schedule a pickup from the shuttle? Thanks!
