Has anyone dined at Shutters recently? Never tried it but thought it would be a nice change. Can anyone report the good...the bad.....the ugly?? Thanks :)

We tried Shutters in Sept, we were not impressed. DH had the wings as an appetizer and they were great (that seems to the rule at Disney), I had the crab cakes (crab lover) they were ok, had had enough after the first one. DD had the salad, which she liked. My entree was the mojo shrimp (shrimp lover here!) not good, the rice was not very good either. DH had the ribeye with add-on shrimp, he liked the shrimp, and thought the steak was just ok. DD had the grilled chicken that she would not TOUCH. For dessert I had the creme brulee, the only thing I liked about that was the carmelized sugar on top, DH got the choco cake to go (for me, for later), it too was just ok. DD got the ice cream castle, which had all but melted during our "potty" break. She liked it anyway. DS was tired and slept through the entire meal. Service was prompt, but not with a smile. Left an additional tip, as we did with all of the table service meals, as we had the meal plan (for free) and did not mind doing so.

We usually have a couple of meals here when we stay. They are just OK, nothing too exciting. We usually stay at the CBR for 17nights but if we were only there for a few night I definetely wouldn't waste a night eating there. Saying that it's not an overally expensive meal and is proberly value for money. Maria
