Hi
We will be staying in the CBR in May and was wondering what Shutters restaurant was like? Is it casual ? Reservations required? I would love feed back if anyone has been. Thanks

We have eaten here a few times. We wore our park clothes. A nice shirt and a nice shorts. We did need reservations. It is a nice quiet place. We like the food and service.

We were there in '07 and it was lovely. Good food and good service and nice and quiet after all the hustle and bustle of the parks. We were staying at CBR but we made a ressie that morning because there were 9 of us. Turned out we didn't need to make one because the restaurant was not crowded. I think Shutters is a well kept secret. I'd eat there again.

We stayed at CBR in 2008 and had our first night meal at Shutters. We weren't really expecting too much but we just wanted to find somewhere convenient to eat after our long journey.

We really enjoyed it! Our server was called Oskar and he was wonderful - he made us feel

very welcome and special. We had such a lovely, relaxing meal that we decided to go back there on our last night - once more we were served by Oskar who was delighted we had had a lovely holiday.

We had two lovely meals here - and would definitely go back if we stayed at CBR again!

We stayed at CBR back in October and ate at Shutters. Surprisingly you DO need ressies, I think it's because there's so many rooms on property that the small restaurant gets filled up pretty quick.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Shutters! We were a party of 6 and eveyone had something different, and no entree was bad. Actually my father-in-law had the New York Strip and said it was one of the best steaks he had all week! That's saying a lot because we were on DxDDP and ate at a lot of Signature restaurants. I was unsure of eating at Shutters too, (because you just don't hear much about it), but if you're not wanting to leave the resort and want something other than CS, it's a good place to try. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but if staying at CBR it's pretty good and our server was AWESOME. I hope that helps! ;)

We ate here for the first time this January and liked it. I got a pasta dish that I thought was alright (I want to emphasize that it was NOT bad, I just personally wasn't crazy about the sauce) and my mom got some sort of steak that she loved. Everything was of good quality and served at the right temperature. The service was by far the best that we had the entire trip. I would definitely suggest trying it, especially since you will be at CBR. As far as reservations go, I think it depends when you go. We had made reservations, but it was clear when we got there that we really didn't need them because the place wasn't even half full. But it definitely can't hurt to make them. Have fun!

Today a friend of mine at work told me she had spoken with her travel agent this weekend, and the travel agent told her that Shutters was going to be changing to a buffet style restaurant. Has anyone else heard this?

Answered my own question! My friend talked with her travel agent again, and learned that Shutters will be offering a breakfast buffet, in addition to (not instead of) the usual table-service dinner. Supposedly this will be in place by early July.
