Do you have to purchase all your photos at one time if you get the photo package? Can you pick out three one day, three the next, etc!

Thanks.

Laura

As the week goes by can I just have them add our pics to our family folder and at end of week choose which ones we want?
Can we order 2or3 of the same photo?

They can make duplicates for you. I am sure they would rather do that than have you go to a self service place and make your own. My advice is dont leave the pictures up on the stands but get your family pics down and take to them to hold for you to choose from. In some instances, pics have disappeared. If they are up on display, anyone can purchase them, so have them hold them for you.

I didn't think they would "hold" photos for you.... How does this work?

on our 9/6 cruise (7 day) we asked if they would hold photos, the asnwer was no. They did say, however, that no photos get thrown away, so at the end of the cruise you could ask them for a specific set of pictures that you can look through (try to remember the day and the place/character in the photo)

also, we bought the 10 photo plan, and we were allowed to exchange up to 3 photos if we saw something we liked better later in the cruise (which we did with no problem)

Well, it may have changed since April 2002 but we did buy the ten photo package so they held them all for us to decide from.

We would go everyday and find all of our pictures. We grouped all the pictures we were considering in one behind another and tried to keep them on a higher shelf out of everyones way and put the pictures we weren't considering in the throw away box. The group of pictures got move around a bit by Shutter's staff but they were kept together until the last day when we made our picks.

Consider starting with the smallest package. You won't have any problem "trading up" if there are more you want.

At the end of the cruise I had purchased the largest package and used all but 2, I was able to get 4 of their stock photos - ship at night, all of the characters in beachwear, Mickey & Minnie in formalwear and one other that is slipping my mind at the moment. I wanted these anyway as additions to my scrapbook so it was a good deal.

As others have said, group your more formal 8 x 10 photos, they'll get moved but not tossed and no one else is going to buy those as you are only ones in them.

As for copies - either ask for the release or get it from the website - can someone help out with that? I have the printed out copy at home and if I dig will probably find the website. The photo vendor (it isn't Disney but a contractor) would LOVE to have you make lots of copies and hand them out. I was told by a CM that they would rather have you take it and have it done at home for a couple reasons. You spend more on NEW photos and there is less to count against your customs allowanace. Plus you usually have more options.

Last weekend I took several of our formal shots to Sam's Club and used the Kodak Picture Maker. The clerk was right there asking for the release which I simply handed to her. I was able to make additional 8 x 10s plus some 5 x 7s and wallet size prints. Guess what the grandparents, aunts/uncles are getting for Christmas? :p
