Hi all! We are staying at CBR and so were wondering about the restaurant there - Shutters. I never hear anything about it at all. Anyone eat there? Just trying to decide if we should have a meal there upon our arrival night or just head out to a dfferent resort for dinner that night.

Any feedback at all?? There's got to be some people here that have eaten there! lol!

We had dinner there it was good.

We stayed at CBR over the summer and had the Dining Plan. We ate at Shutters for one of our nights. The food was fine. Service was pretty good. Nice signature dessert for the 50 year celebration. We had a ADR, arrived in plenty of time, and waited about 10-15 minutes from the time of our ADR. Resort restaurants book up at the last minute I think, as people that are staying there realize there is a restaurant, make a ressie in the day, days ahead, etc. etc. It was definitely full. Good food choices. You feel like you are sort of "outside" while you are eating, as all of the windows have shutters on them. The rest. isn't large and has high ceilings. Have fun.

I stayed at CBR in April and at the last minute ate at Shutters one night.

It wasn't bad, it just wasn't special at all. With the hundreds of restaurants at WDW and all the specialties they offer, I would choose one of those.

I've eaten at most of the restuarants at WDW over the years, but not at Shutters. I've looked at the menu, and it seems to be more expensive than the other restaurants at the moderate resorts. I'm a bit leery.

But I agree that we rarely read anything here about it, and I'd like to hear someone give a good report. (Much like the other thread about Boatwright's.)

We used to love Shutter's when they opened a couple of years ago and up until about a year ago. When we went in January a lot of the items we enjoyed ordering were gone. There was a huge language barrier with our server. What I ordered would have been FABULOUS at a place like Spoodles with at Mediterranean theme but seems extremely out of place at a Carribean themed restaurant. (I commented to the family they should sell the recipe to Spoodles) You still can find some good food there. I just wouldn't make a special trip to CBR to eat at Shutter's like we used to do.
