shutters - cbr

i haven't really read anything about this place. dh and i will be getting to cbr about 5pm to check in and was thinking this might make a good first night restaurant, since it's at the hotel.

has anyone been there? did you like it?

We recently tried Shutters and thought it was good. My DH had the prime rib and I had a sirloin steak, I think. Both came with mashed potatoes and string beans. The portions were small for the price but filling. The food was tasty and both steaks cooked as requested. We also had some frozen drinks and used our refillable mugs for soda. We were too full for dessert. It was our first stay at CBR and we had to give the restaurant a try. We were both glad we did. Enjoy!

Shutters was a fantastic meal for us! The Island wings were our favorite appetizer of the whole trip. DH loved his jerk chicken and I loved my fish. The desserts were not good, however. Definately go but consider skipping dessert here. Oh, yeah--the salad was great! Ask for lots of the cracker type bread they bring with lots of the roasted garlic to spread on your cracker! I'm so tired after two days of driving I'm sure I'm not making sense!

You can bring your refillable mugs to a restaurant on that resort property? Please explain??.....
