Shutters at Old Port Royale

I am considering Shutters at Old Port Royale to be one of my ADR's. Can you please tell me how the food is etc? I have an DS (11) and DS (7) and am also wondering how the kids meals are. Thanks for your help.

While I've never been there- i've heard mixed reviews on it. Some say they love it- some say just so-so.

If you're staying at CBR then i say eat there and I'm sure it'll be decent and it's right there- but it doesn't seem like the type of place I'd go from another resort to visit and eat cuz there's way better places out there.

I have eaten there a couple of times, and each of my personal experiences was lousy. There are tons of people that like it well enough. But for us, the service was poor the food tasteless and fatty once, and severely undercooked another.

We eat here once last year and loved it. I had a steak that was amazing. And I am from Nebraska and eat WAY TO MUCH steak.

My 4 years old twins didn’t eat their meal but that's normal for them. They snack heavily in the day and just pick at their dinners. Their drinks came with small light up plastic figure. Tinkerbell and Capt Hook I believe. These LED light-up figures entertainted them for our entire meal. A year later and they still play with them.

I had a 13 year old family member with us. She enjoyed her meal but said my steak was better than the meal she got. She got a pork dish of some type.

The wife got a sea food dish and really enjoyed it.

Our service was fast and the CM was very very helpful. We took all his recommendations and was very happy with all the choices.
