Hi,
For those of your that have eaten at a Shula's outside of WDW does the one in the Dolphin measure up? My husband and I are big steak people but we have never tried Shula's. I had the pleasure of dinning at the Shula's in IN in a business trip a couple of weeks ago and it was truly the best piece of steak I have every had. This includes meals at Grill 23 and such places. Anyway I want to try Shula's in the Dolphin as I do not mind paying the prices if the food and service is as good as any other Shula's. Grant it the meal will not be on an expense account but still that was truely one of the best meals I have ever had. The only negative was that I was there on business and not with my hubby. So what do you guys think?

Shula's at the Dolphin is outstanding!!! DH and I both agree it's the best restaurant on Disney property! (And the most expensive! LOL)

It's the same as the Shulas in other places. :)

I didn't like it quite as much as any of the Ruth's Chris that I've been to, but I still loved it! I think it's right on par with any of the upscale chain steakhouses (I think it's better than Mortons)

I think it's a great meal--good steaks, good sides--everything is well prepared and delicious! Just don't them sell you on the stone crab--that was an expensive meal!

I thought it was quite good....and we ate at one in Miami that I thought did not compare to the one at the Dolphin.. Pricey, but very good.

We just dined there 2 weeks ago and it was great. It was not expensive (compared to NY prices anyway). the steaks are perfectly cooked and the sides, as you know are huge--enough for 2 or more people. We loved it and will be going back aging in December.

Thanks for all of the replies. I was hoping the feedback would be positive. I am thinking of switching a reservation I have in December for the Yatchmans to Shula's.

We have dined in both and Shula's wins hands down. We were very disappointed in YSH. The food was cold, my DH steak was not cooked properly and the service was lacking. We were there 2nd week of December (last year) and an early ADR 6 ish. So it was not busy....absolutely NO excuse.

We also dined in Blue Zoo and it was great too - also in the Dolphin. If you love fish/seafood you will love this restaurant.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunetly my husband and not a seafood guy so we stick to the steakhouses.
