Shula's Steak House - worth it?

Our family is headed to WDW in 16 days! My DH would like to take one evening that is just for us. We are staying at the Swan so I made reservations at Shula's Steak House. I just checked out the menu and was a little shocked at the prices. Has anyone been and was it worth it? I can see paying those prices if the meal is amazing - but if it is only okay, the prices are a bit high. Any advice would be appreciated!

If you like top quality steak and excellent service--yes, it's worth it. In fact, We ate there twice last trip.

I agree with the others, very good indeed although quite expensive as you have seen the prices. We went there with our two kids (DD and I split a steak which was more than enough for us), but the bill was crazy. My kids enjoyed it very much though. Great for a special occasion, service is outstanding, the inside is a bit dark, but great for a couple. If you don't mind shelling out the money I say go for it!

Shula's IS NOT overly expensive as top end steakhouses go. Mortons, Ruths', Cap Grille, The Palm, Flemings, all more expensive.

It's worth every penny.

Definitely worth it. And really not that expensive for the quality. We get one appetizer, two steaks, and one dessert, for a little over $100 before tip. We can easily spend $70 or more on a typical Disney dinner that comes nowhere near to the experience we have at shulas.

Yes. May in fact be my favorite restaurant at Disney but I've never done V&A.
