Does anyone know if sharing a meal is allowed at Shula's? I have two 20yo duaghters who would like to dine at Shula's after their mother and I raved about the restuarant. Neither of them are big eaters and there is no way they will be able to consume 1/4 of their meal alone. Does Sula's allow meal sharing? Thanks in advance for you help.

Most of the Shula's have a sharing charge, I think it's $10. Covers the extra place setting, bread and a share of the overhead of the restaurant. It's on the menu so you'll know before you order.

That's not for sharing the side dishes but for sharing an entrée.

Everything is a la carte, so they could still each eat a filet or NY strip on their own and order one side to share. The baked potatoes are the size of your foot and the side of creamed spinach is huge! That way they aren't throwing away money on simply sharing one steak. For an extra $10, they could each have their own meal and get to try a couple of dishes.

The 16 ounce NY Sirloin is $36, most of the steaks are in the same price range. If you don't want to be bothered with a doggie bag the sharing charge can still be worth it. It's more like an extra $20-$25. Some restaurants, I don't Shula's, will waive a sharing charge if you wind up ordering extra appetizers and desserts.

Sorry...I meant $10 each. However, after looking at the menu, they could go for chicken or fish and it would be less, and they could split entees and each have steak and fish/chicken. There's no sharing charge went you share that way!

Makes sense at home when it's easy to bring the leftover food home. If I wanted to split the 4 pound lobster or the Porterhouse steak I'd just pay the sharing charge and not bother with an extra entrée.

It's not worth an extra $25 if all you're going to be doing is ordering food you're going to be throwing out. I don't think I'd want a doggie bag if I was going to be going from Shula's to EPCOT to see Illumination then a bus back to my resort. Now if I was going directly back to the BWV and was going to put the leftovers directly in the refrig I might have a different answer.

Back to the OP, yes you can share, there is probably going to be a sharing charge and decide if you're better off paying for an inexpensive entrée or paying the charge.
