We have never been to either and just wondering which one we should do? DH loves steak and I love lobster. I am leaning toward Shula's because of Camp Dolphin we can have a adult dinner while DD7 is having fun & dinner at CD. But I have read great reviews on LeCellier. I'm torn please help.

Haven't eaten at Shula's, but love Le Cellier. The cool, cellar-like atmosphere is really great, and the steaks are too.:thumbsup2

They are both good and I love LeCellier, BUT if you want seafood too, definitley Shulas. You can't go wrong.

Ive been to both and Le Cellier doesnt hold a candle to Shulas.

LeCellier would struggle to compeate with their prices and quality if they were not in Epcot and had 40k people a day walk right by them. Put LeCellier on any street corner in any large city, and they would do one of three things. #1 drop prices #2 increase quality. #3 go out of buisness.

LeCellier is fun and I enjoy it a great deal. But the quality of the food is on par with a Texas Road house or any other national chain. Keep in mind, I always have a good meal at LeCellier and hope to return there many times. But the reality is, that if not located in Epcot, I would never dream of paying thier prices for that quality of food.

Shula's is a world class steak house, that happens to be in the Epcot area.

To compare Shula's and LeCellier is foolish.

Now if you want to compare the Yachtsman and Shula's you may? have a worthy discussion. But at the end of the day IMO the majority of people who have eaten at both will tell you Shula's is the finer place to dine.

I urge you all to try Shula's , it really is in a league just a notch below a Ruth Chris steak house.

Ok with that last review I made my choice ----SHULA'S

Thanks for all the opinions.

Were from Chicago and Ruth's Chris is good but I do like Gibson's better.

Can't wait for Shula's that's our 1st day there. I guess a great way to start the vacation :cool1:

I think JIMDVC hits the nail right on the head. There is no comparing the two. You will not miss at Shula's the food is right on and service is great. Enjoy!

1) I have eaten at Shula's in several U.S. cities.
2) Le Cellier can't hold a candle.

I have been to both and there is really no contest, Shula's is a finer steakhouse...

Okay....so are prices comparable at both places or is Shula's more expensive?

We'll be going to Narcoosee's for dinner one night....would you compare that more to Shula's?

Shula's is more. I consider Shula's to be better then Nacoosee's, but that is just me. Without a doubt Nacoosee's is better IMO then LeCellier.

IMO few of the WDW places would be able to survive in the real world with their quailty/price structure. But when you have 30-70k people a day walk by your front door, who have a card that must be used at one of your onsite resturants, it allows a business to survive with a quality/price ratio that would never fly in the outside world.

We are not on any meal plan and can't do DDE, so I'd like to make this semi-affordable....with a 9 and 11 year old in tow, in addition to me and DH. We LOVE to eat and eat well. DH and I were going to do Narcoosee's alone while the kids are at the Kids Club. Is Shula's too much for kids or is that better for adults only. We don't do buffets, so that will give you a pretty good indication of how picky we are. If we're going to spend good money on food, the food had better be good!!!

Thanks to you, I'm crossing LeCellar off our list.

I would keep LeCellier on your list. Shula's will be darn near double the price. LeCellier is great, you will love it and so will the kids. I enjoy it a great deal. Wonderful food. It simply isn't as good as Shula's. Few places are.

Keep in mind I love to eat at a TExas Road house. Always enjoy my meal there. LeCellier will be much like that in quality, at about double the price. Shula's will be MUCH MUCH better, and at double the price of LeCellier.
