I am looking to make an ADR for one of the Steakhouses. I'm looking for opinions on which one, Yachtsman, Le Cellier or Shula's? Any help would be great. Thx

Is shula's on the DDP? If so is it just a TS or is it a signature? Sorry I couldnt vote as ive never been to any of them. We currently have an ADR for Le Cellier.

Looks like none of the restaurants in the Swan or Dolphin are listed in the dining plan, I guess since those are not really Disney Resorts.

I haven't eaten at Shula's so I can't offer an opinion on it. However, I have eaten at both the Yachtsmans and Le Cellier. If you are looking for a really good filet then I would recommend Yachtsman's. We just did Le Cellier for the 2nd time this past Friday night. Our server was amazing (Nadia) and the food was very good. But, I went for the Halibut instead of the Filet because the filet comes all done up with some mushroom stuff and some sort of sauce and it's over a wild mushroom risotto. It was way too rich for me - i tasted my husband's. At Yachtsman's you get a great filet - not dressed up too much if I remember correctly. So far though the best Filet I've ever had is at California Grill!
Hope that helps!

I say Yachtsman because it is super good, Le Cellier is ok but Yachtsman tops it. We have a Shula's here in town so I can eat that anytime but truth be told it is mega expensive and I can get a great steak anywhere

Yachtsman is ten times better than LC.

Shula's is far superior to Le Cellier or Yachtsman Steal House.
. . . the service is superb
. . . the menu items are very good
. . . the steaks are far more tender than LC or YSH
. . . the presentation of the meal if delightful

NOTE: Shula's validates parking, so your valet parking is free.

I've eaten at all three and for the best steak at WDW, go to Shula's.

Sure it's pricey (and you have to stare at all those crappy Miami Dolphin pictures on the walls), but, the steaks can't be beat. Heck, I've even eaten a light dinner at the bar, ordering the beefsteak tomato & gorgonzola salad (killer) and a glass of chardonnay.

Yachtsman, hands down....and for an added treat, request that Oscar be your server :goodvibes :goodvibes

We love Oscar, we have celebrated our wedding anniversary with him for the last two years now :lmao:

Haven't done Shula's.

Yachtman's over LeCellier by a LANDSLIDE> I thik LeCellier's "success" has kind of ruined it.

Of the 3 you mentioned, I've eaten at both Shula's and Le Cellier and there is absolutely no comparison. Shula's by a MILE. I'm one of those "expense account" people who get to eat out a lot on the company dime - I've eaten at Shula's probably 20 times (at various locations including WDW) and never had a bad meal. Shula's serves "prime" grade beef; not sure if Le Cellier is "prime" or "choice" but in my opinion, Le Cellier was more at the level of something like the chains Outback or Longehorne Steakhouse.

Years ago we dined at LC (like '99 or '00) and the server went on and on about "prime Canadian beef" and it was wonderful. Our subsequent visits were not as good and out last one was barely edible, tough and stringy NY strip. I heard that they had to stop importing their beef during the mad cow scare. We have never had the pleasure of dining at Shula's but a friend lived in Orlando for a while before 9/11 (he was a pilot in school there) and he raved about Shulas. Maybe one day we will get over there although it will be hard to drag the family away from Yachtsman. We're not dining there for our upcoming trip because we have an extra teen tagging along

I wouldn't ever eat at Shula's in WDW simply because we have one in Portland. I don't have a Yachtsman or Le Cellier so I'd pick those...
