What would a man need to wear for dinner at Shula's? It says "Business Casual" -- I infer that to mean slacks (not shorts or jeans) and a shirt with a collar but no jacket required? Polo type shirt ok, or dressier? Tie or no tie?

I have a skirt and top and sandals for myself but wasn't sure what to do about hubby. THis dinner is a surprise for him, so I'm packing his "good clothes" clandestine!

Thanks!

Well--all I can say is don't overdress. I hardly think a coat and tie are needed. Nice shorts and a collared shirt would seem to split the difference between comfort and that "code".
And actually, the code really means no swim wear, or tank tops on men. Otherwise almost anything goes.

Oh trust me, we aren't the "overdressing" type! I just wanted to make sure we met the minimum standard!

I put a pair of navy pants and a nice polo shirt in the bag for DH. THink that will work?

THanks!

I have always worn dockers, dress shoes, and a collared polo or golf shirt, and been right on the 'norm' for Shula's. Most of the people with jackets and ties seemed to be conducting business dinners.
Hope that helps.
