I have read that Shula's offers two hours of free child care while the parents enjoy a meal. Is this true? If so, can anyone tell me about the child care? We are thinking of leaving DD 4 and DD 6 at this, but will only do so if they will enjoy it.

yes it is true I emailed them and it is for two hours, they said from 5 - 7 pm they would even serve dinner to the kids.
I cannot tell you about the child care other than it is the dolphin kid's camp. Many others have raved about it.:wave2:

It is true that 2 hrs. of comp. babysitting is allowed for dining at Shula's. I posted recently that we thought the child care was extremely crowded with subpar facilities for the kids. Too many children and too few caregivers IMHO. The workers seemed nice enough but after a tour we couldn't leave the kids there. See for yourself because it sounds like many people enjoy the center at the Dolphin. I don't mean to rain on your parade but our family was involved in an extremely serious incident at a kid's club in St. Thomas and I'd never forgive myself if I didn't speak up. Have a super tirip to WDW! Threehearts

Thanks for the info - Since we are staying at the YC, I think I will simply use its child care. It would be nice to save the money, but I want my kids to have some fun (and, most importantly, be safe).
