Is there room for one more here? I don't know how I missed this thread, but I definitely need to trade some lbs for pixie dust!
Here are my starting facts.
Start Date: Jan. 6, 2006 actually, but to give myself a brand new fresh start we'll say today - June 16, 2008
Real Name: Christina
Sex: Female
Age: 37
Marital Status: Single
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 220
Problem areas: What isn't a problem? Worst area though is my midriff area and my butt.
Diet Plan: ediets - regular and convience plan
Disney Goal: About 30 lbs. That would put me back at the weight I was on my 2006 Disney trip.
Overall Goal: No specific weight. I want to get to a size 8. I keep thinking about 120, but in reality I think that may be a bit low for my body type. I also want to get toned and in better shape. Would like to hit this before Fabby Lapu Lapu fest 2009.
Biggest temptation: Cupcakes. I never had a problem with them before, but since working in NYC it's become a real issue for me. Absolutely delicious ones are all over the place.
Back in Jan. 2006 I finally had enough of being overweight and after getting inspired by watching Kelly LeBrock on Celebrity Fit Club I buckled down, joined ediets, and lost 50 lbs. I felt like I had the weight loss thing in hand and then I lost my job.
While out of work my weight started inching back up little by little. Getting back to work didn't help much and I've slowly been falling back to my bad eating habits. I hate myself for letting this happen again. I let money stress get to me. It got particularly bad since Christmas this year. I lost all control, and found myself eating instead of dealing with other issues in a more productive way.
I'm hoping to lose about 30 lbs ish before my trip. I defintely need to lose some or none of my shorts are going to fit!
My goals for this week are as follows:
1) to sit down and plan my meals on ediets for the week. I find if I have an exact plan for the week I do much better than winging it day by day.
2) To walk to Central Park on my lunch 3 times this week. (Weather permitting)
3) To do a workout tape, or a take a bike ride at least 3 times this week.
4) Avoid peanut butter. I started bringing peanut butter sandwiches to work because they are relatively inexpensive. Problem is, if I so much as look at Peanut butter I gain 5 lbs. It's an evil food for me.
Looking forward to seeing everyone else's progress as well.
