The 2nd theater DOES have stationary seats! They are located in the front row -the last 8 seats. I worked in there yesterday so I know they weren't blocked off.

I love working on Shrek - I enjoy watching people's reactions in the theater during some of the effects. It's a fun attraction!

Maybe I misunderstood and it is the first theater that has the staionary seats blocked off in the first row. I asked her if any were blocked off and she said only the ones in the first row. Maybe she meant the first row in the first theater and not the second. I know I was surprised that they would block off any stationary seats but I had heard that some were so that is why I asked her specifically.

When we went Saturday they were not allowing seating in the front row of the original theater. The words "stationary" were removed from the seats and they just had yellow diamonds.

Thanks, MF. I just assumed she was talking about the second theater when she said the stationary seats in the first row were not be using. Now I know my assumption was wrong and it was the first theater. I have no idea why they aren't using them though.

Do the chairs in the 2nd theater get screwed up and make a really loud air noise throughout the entire show like the ones in the original theater? Just wondering if they made an attempt to fix the technology.

Those things have to be a maintenance nightmare! I noticed that they have lost a little of their motion and are squeaking pretty loud in some rows.
