Shrek Feast at Gaylord Palms?

Has anybody done the Shrek Feast breakfast at Gaylord Palms?
How is the food? Which characters do you get to meet?
I'm interested in any character meal outside Disney. Ninja Turtles dinner at Nick Hotel sounds great, but it's only for resort guests... bummer

Yep, we did .

Characters are Shrek, Fiona and Puss in Boots. They will visit your table more than once during the meal.

Food is fantastic. A huge buffet. Everything you can imagine, with the selections arranged in stations. The meal is served with their signature swamp juice, a green juice that's a blend of citrus (tastes like orange but is very very green!).

The restaurant (Villa de Flora) is inside the Gaylord Palms 4-acre indoor atrium, which is worth a tour when you are done breakfast. The greenery is gorgeous and the atrium is home to a selection of gators on loan from Gatorland.

We ate there Dec 8th and thought the buffet was one of the best we've ever done (and we have done all of the ones offered at WDW). We loved eating out in the atrium area. The morning we were there the characters were Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots, and the Town Crier. Actually at first we didn't know for sure who the Town Crier was and thought he was Lord Farguaad's henchman (Thelonius), but when he came around he said he was the Town Crier.
