Showing up with less people

Hello everyone!

If I have a reservation for 4, and 1-2 in our party decide not to come, will my Credit Card be charged for anyone who doesn't show?

If so, should it work to make a reservation for 4 and then modify it closer to the date from say 4 to 2 people if necessary?

You will not be charged the no show penalty for the folks that do not show up as long as someone honors the ADR. If no one show up, then you'll be charged the no show.

You can certainly try to modify the ADRs if you know for sure that the individuals will not be joining you. It's usually easier to reduce the party size, but it's not always possible. The CM on the phone may tell you that you have to cancel the ADR and then re-book. If that happens, just keep the ADR for 4 people and when you get to the restaurant, tell the CM at check-in the correct party size.

I think you will be charged for no-shows on a prepaid reservation (CRT or dinner shows) unless you remove them. Otherwise, they won't charge you the no-show fee as long as SOMEBODY shows up.
