We're going the end of August and my sister may be joining us.I have our ADRs booked for 5, will they turn us away if she comes along? I know it will be busy during that time but my kids will revolt if their aunt has to stay outside the restaurants! LOL!

Just call and see if you can change it to 6 people instead. It never hurts to try ahead of time.

I think most of the restaurants have tables for 4 or 6. Since you are probably set up with a table for 6, you should be good to go. I would call and see if this is the case.

We were just there last week and my mom made a last minute surprise trip to join myself and dd. We already had all our ADRs booked and I wasn't sure how they would be. When we arrived I told them we actually had 3 instead of 2 and we didn't have a problem. As a matter of fact, at each one the hostess said "no problem, we will just change it". She went with us to O'hana's, Donald's Breakfast and Coral Reef. I was told at a couple of them that the table was a four top even if it was just the two of us.

Well, if Cinderella is one of the places you have ADR's for, call and change as you have to pre pay for those anyway, and I was told (dunno if it's true or not) that they have 5 place tables max. If you have more then just put more together. BUT, since you have 5 already, and would be adding a sixth, if what that CSR told me was right, you'd need 2 tables which could cause some issues..
Now if this person was wrong, or if you dont have ressies at anyplace like that, I would guess they could hook you up, but you never know for sure..

I would call and changed as many as you can and then the ones you cant just bring her along. We made adrs for Chef Mickey's and showed up with one extra person and they were ok with it. We even called and tried to change our reservation and they said they couldn't

We had friends join us at Ohana's, Coral Reef & the Turf Club. In all instances we tried to change our ADR and there was nothing available, but the restaurant was able to accomondate us.

I think if you are not positive you will have an extra guest (as we were not) then I would not mess with my ADR's.
