Looking for shower favor ideas for in the range of about $3 for a bridal shower in April. Would go a little higher if needed. My only idea so far are hand dipped chocolates from a local company but does not look like much for the price! Any ideas welcome.

I'm working in a shower now. It's a French cafe theme so I'm putting 2 macaron in a gift bag with some Jordan almonds.

For my sister we had small flowering potted plants as the centerpieces and everyone took one home as a favor.

Pintrest had an infinite number of ideas too.

You can do the foaming hand soaps from Bath & Body Works...with their coupons and deals you can get them for great prices. There are tons of cute poems that you can print out onto a tag and tie onto it.

Small bottles of hand sanitizer or other kind of small spa thing like lotion, body wash, lip balm, etc. I saw Mary Kay Satin Hands samples on ebay. Then stick in a couple of Ghiridelli chocolate squares.

I like the poem idea- maybe one about friendship.

I like something consumable. Candy, cookies, lotion, a small herb plant or bulb that's been started that I can put in my kitchen then plant outside. I don't like things like refrigerator magnets and other knick knacks.

You can make them in the wedding colors and put names/designs. They sell favor packs for less than $2 a piece. if you are having enough people, though, you can buy a 2lb bag and make your own. I made favors by buying the little tin containers with clear lids (at Michael's or other crafts store) and ribbon. Filled the tins, tied the ribbon. I think i even custom printed the ribbon. They were cute, consumable, easy, and reasonably cheap. I just looked on the website and M&M does sell the containers but they are much more expensive then buying something and making them yourself.

For my sil shower, we bought favor sized boxes from Russell stover and gift wrapped them in fancy paper and ribbon.
They were a big hit for only $1 each

It's been years....but I took a wooden spoon and wrapped a dish towel around it with ribbon. I bought the wooden spoons in packs (i.e. different spoons in a mesh bag) and I bought bulk dish towels. There were different spoons and different towels...everyone chose what they wanted.

small soaps are cheap and adorable and women love them. you can guy on line or Etsy and they're themed. a bride, a shower, an umbrella.... etc
