ShowCase of Citrus?

We are doing a non-Disney vacation this time and looking for alternative things to do.

Any one been on the Monster truck safari (I see they have a deal on Groupon)? I am wondering if this is a bit young for my 12 year olds, but like the idea of picking fresh citrus. Has anyone been on the safari from Forever Florida? Wondering which would be better?

Our other plans are Busch Gardens, Gatorland, Space Center, Airboat ride (Wild Florida I think sounds good) and see Manatees at Blue Springs.

Any other suggestions?

We have been twice....August 2013 and August 2014. Monster truck ride both times, but no citrus picking (wrong season).

I don't think its young for your 12 year olds at all. We were a group of older teens and adults, and we had a great time.

Showcase for Citrus is great fun .... ( You will see Cows eating Oranges )

Your 12 year old will Really really enjoy it.

The Safari at Forever Florida is also Very Good but different.

They also do Tree Top Zip Wire attraction ..... Again your 12 year old would enjoy

it MORE than scared Adults .

They have a good eating place there .

We did the Showcase of Citrus in December 2013. We really enjoyed it. I think a 12 year old would enjoy it. They might even let him drive the monster truck. They let a youngster of about the same age drive. The tour operator was right there supervising and helping with the steering wheel when necessary.
