show your voiceee :O

No kidding! And they speak so thick.
I'm not going to speak spanish, because honestly, I have that horrible American accent. I use to speak Spanish and Catalan all the time when I was younger, I was fluent in the latter, and then I stopped speaking it and I gained the horrible accent.

ETA: Okay, maybe some Catalan but my Spanish accent is bad, bad, baaaaaad.

Wow, I've heard Catalan and I can understand some but then again it reminds more of other languages than Spanish. & agreed, Spanish was my first language when I was younger but then my older brothers would talk in English to me and I gradually lost my mad skillz in Spanish :/ I quickly slap my hand over my mouth when I notice that horrible accent creeping in :(

My first language was English, but my grandparents came over from Spain so there was alot of Catalan around. Spanish was picked up from them too, and a lot of it had to do from my trips to Spain - 6 by the time I was 7 years old. Then I got embarrassed and tried to be as American as possible, which was actually pretty silly. I'm in Spanish IV at school in the 11th grade which is pretty advanced, but I bump heads with the teachers because what you say in Spain isn't always the same in Mexico. ;)
But yeah, I've decided to learn again. If I'm getting my dual citizenship in a few months, I need to know some of the language.

Oh, they teach Mexican Spanish? I had a Puerto-Rican Spanish teacher (it was the only language at school, and you HAD to take it; worst hour of my life!!!!) & she taught us Puerto Rican Spanish even though we were supposed to be learning Spanish as it is spoken in Spain. I remember we had to write a journal entry once a day & I remember she corrected one of my sentences by cutting off the 's' in a word! As if saying something like, "Nosotro somo de Puerto Rico," I was like, "...what?!?!?!?!"
My Spanish is sadly slowly dying though...my parents bother me about it but my dad told me some days ago, "Well ya know, you aren't Mexican...you're Mexican American Bianca, so you're going to be better at English, just because you speak it every day," I felt bad though :(

Yep. This past year, I got sick one week so my mom did my Spanish homework for me. My mom was born in Barcelona and lived there until she was 25. The teacher graded my assignment and most of it was wrong! My mom was pissed because that was the Castellano she knew, and apparently the school is teaching Mexican Spanish. There's no right or wrong, but it's always nosotros! ;) Sometimes I shorten it to nos, and in Spain we use vosotros, never ustedes!

OMG yes me too! I am a first generation American on my mom's side, so when I tell people I am a Spanish American they say "whaaaaaa?!".

Apparently I can't even talk to a camera. xD

a little of me talking and some random radio in the backround

I know you all would LOVE to hear my squeaky voice and my Lawn Guyland accent (which one of my cousins wishes she had, since she's from Maryland) - can you sense the sarcasm there? - but my computer doesn't have a webcam thing, so I might have to borrow my sister's computer, which probably won't happen.

I'd upload a video but 1) You'd all laugh at my scouseness and 2) I don't know how to upload videos xD

OMG Ellie I ADORE scouse accents like you wouldn't believe! I wish you'd post!
Oh and btw what you have to do to upload a video is:
-take the video with a video camera (duh)
-save the video to your computer
-upload it to youtube or photobucket or whatever
-put the video in a post

and BAM! I can hear your scouse accent :teeth:

Thanks, I'll remember that ahah xD
Now the only problem is that I can't find the lead for my camera to connect it to the computer >_<
And really?!
It's a horribble accent
Mine isn't even that strong, thank god.
But even still, when I go on holiday people are always making fun of me "/

Oh yes, I think they're ah-mazing (along with most other accents LOL)...I don't know what it is about them.
The same thing happens to me when I go away places. People can tell right away that I'm from New York because of my Long Island accent. I'll put up a video when I can get on my sister's laptop.
