Oh yes, I think they're ah-mazing (along with most other accents LOL)...I don't know what it is about them.
The same thing happens to me when I go away places. People can tell right away that I'm from New York because of my Long Island accent. I'll put up a video when I can get on my sister's laptop.

I don't really have an accent like you hear in Manhattan...I say stuff like wawter, chawklit, lawng, sawng, etc, etc, etc.
Right now I like British accents and slight Boston ones best lol

I have a cousin in Maryland who I just saw last week, and after hearing my dad talk (he has a thick LI accent sometimes), she's like "I wish I talked like that!"
I don't think your accent is weird, I love the way you guys like roll your Rs...it's cool IMO

I don't really have much of an accent; just a little Boston, but nothing like saying "Whooooosta" instead of "Wooster".

But when I'm singing, I do this really weird thing with my E's. It's not really explainable; it just makes it sound like I have a really weird accent when I'm singing xD It doesn't sound like my normal voice at all! And then, I sing some words funny...I really don't know what's up with that. hahaha.
