it was basically an Simpsons episode where Homer was sat down with nothing to do, he is seen dangling his dog from a sock and says "its a dogdangling day", i seemed to use the word from time to time when bored and had nothing to do. Following that I just used the username on numerous message forums and obviously here on the DIS.
