I am the bride.

:wave2:

And a beautiful bride you are! I have taken the liberty of reducing your picture so that you can use it in your sig. Feel free to use the URL for linking it in your posts, I don't mind.

Stanley! You look great! :p

You need to have the picture hosted somewhere on the web. Maybe you have a personal website or a photo hosting account somewhere?

Anyway, do the following below but replace the ()s with []s ok?

(img)http://www.domainname.com/gallery/image.jpg(/img)

The img tag enables you to load a picture at the URL you provide. The URL I used is not real and goes nowhere so don't bother clicking it. :)

Hope this helps!!

I think there are special codes that you can use so that no one can use your photos. It can be very useful for you if you are protective of your photos! I'm not sure of any of the codes though, sorry. I just thought it might help to know that, cuz then you can look for those codes. I think it's java codes.

Alright here it is...the Jungle Skippers Picture whatd'ya think?

EDIT: Thanks Jeff for your help...got it! Man so simple, yet after the day I've had, it's no surprise! :P thanks again.

Jungle Skipper,

When you are looking at your picture, right click on it, choose 'properties'. Copy everything after "address (URL)". Now come into the thread, and click on the IMG button just above your 'message box'. In the box that pops up, paste the URL that you copied from above.

Whoila!

Looks like this:

Good luck!

If you have the ability, you can use Javascript to disable the right click button on people's mouses. It's not pretty code, and will not work on everyone's machine so it's really hit or miss. Even if it was disabled, just by simply viewing the picture, there is a copy already downloaded to your machine. A little searching in your Temporary Internet files, and it's yours. Nothing you can do about that at all....

jfulcer & musicalSaranader,

I thought that would be the case...
as an amateur photographer I will eventually get my stuff out on the web,
but only in a protected mode with the java script you speak of.

Why couldn't posting be as easy as copying a jpg??? go Figure

I know sites like msn & kodak support photo albums,
but I have yet to try them...how's this for a substitute photo-
