We finally ordered ours for our vow renewal!

We've also ordered these, but they most likely won't arrive before we leave for our VR next month. They will have our names of course. We'll have our parish priest bless these at a later date.

DH has been teasing me "only the best for my wife - it's coming all the way from Zirconia!" Yep - you guessed it - it ain't real but it's pretty! His (for the ceremony) is stainless steel. The ones that will have our names and we'll wear all the time is 10K gold.

So excited! DBF bought me a "promise" ring in EPCOT when we were there a couple of weeks ago for the Princess 1/2!

Story: We discussed promise rings over a year ago but I decided I would rather have DBF put the $ toward an E-ring (whenever that may be) so we never really thought about it. I am of Irish descent (and I have the red hair, green eyes, & Irish temper to prove it!) and my absolute favorite shop in EPCOT is the little Celtic jewelry store right next to Twining's Tea in the UK

So anyway, we walked into the shop and I lean over the counter and see the most beautiful silver Claddagh ring. DBF picks it up, slides it on my finger & it fits perfectly! It was so cute so of course, being the sweetheart that he is he just smiled and pulled out his wallet (haha) & I walked away with the cutest little Disney keepsake

heres the engagement

and we just had the band made and got it in last week. I didnt know if I would like the diamonds all the way around but DF said if I wasnt going to get wont that fit against my ring and was sodered that it would spin so he wanted the diamonds all the way around and I love it they are actually on the top bottom and front the whole way around

Here is my ring! I got engaged to my lovely fiance Thomas, after six 1/2 years! He proposed on June 16th of this year!

I had a list of 'wishes' for my e-ring that I made sure all my guy friends knew... this was so if I ever got involved with a guy and was friends with any of my guy friends and decided to take them with to pick out an e-ring... they would know exactly what to tell him to get. I didn't know that one of those friends would turn into that guy LOL. I got to pick out the ring anyway though.
So here is the ring that met my requirements... white gold band, solitary diamond, princess cut, 1/2 carat, NO high cathedral setting (heaven help the sales person who tries to sell me a high cathedral setting!)...

Simply elegant! I love it (maybe because mine is a white gold band, solitary diamond, princess cut, 1/2 carat ) I tried on a bunch of rings, and this was the one I could picture myself wearing every day
