Aww look at all your beautiful trees, all pretty in your nicely decorated homes with enthused cats warming themselves by the fire....

...now to lower the tone. :rotfl:

Our tree: the secret to our tree is to collect 30 years worth of Christmas junk and throw it at the tree in a random order.

It definitely looks better with the lights turned off (that's my sister trying to stabilise the tree by levelling out its feet...)

Some very scary nativity scene my Dad bought in Brazil. Did I mention that we collect Christmas junk?

This is my father's idea of festive - decorating a 3' tall marble Venus De Milo with tinsel.

Cosmo, our ginger tom, wasn't impressed by the whole Christmas thing, so he went to sleep on the sofa. If you were every wondering how much Christmas junk you can pile on a cat before it wakes up, this is it:

Dad then showed him my birthday present to him, a set of 10 trout lights from the largest Christmas store in the world, in Frankenmuth, Michigan.

Cosmo was decidedly unimpressed at this point, and scattered baubles everywhere.

Nevertheless, I piled them back on AND added a festive hat.

He made a dash for the cat flap shortly afterwards. :rolleyes1

Kath, I am :rotfl: at your pics and comments! I will need to get some pics of our tree and cats up here soon :thumbsup2

Just thought I would share my tree. This is the 1st year it is completely Disney from the Tree topper to the tinsel. Had I known it would cause so much trouble I wouldn't have bothered :confused3 . I am know about all things Disney-computers I don't. So I mistakenly asked DH to help :confused3. Never mind tis the season to be jolly

Everyone's trees look so lovely and so does Cosmo with the bauble on his head! :rotfl:

Here is our little tree we put in the dining room. We hang the chocolate decorations on here so they're out of reach of the dogs :dogdance: :dog2:
