I'll start - my DS14 is really "into" exterior illumination. Here's our house:

Too bad it's 70 degrees today; I always like how the lights look with snow on the ground.

Anyway, after I took a whole bunch of shots of the house, I looked down the street and saw the sunset; it's a little blurry - I didn't have the tripod out at the time:

Oops, I guess I should have included some info: For the Christmas lights photo, I used a Canon S3 IS on Night Snapshot mode (found under the Scene Modes on the dial), using a really crappy tripod (the legs wouldn't lock). Guess I'd better ask Santa for a new tripod! :)

The sunset was on Landscape mode, handheld.

Just one of my things outside....the other pictures were blurry...I will try again to take some clear ones.

The penguins are adorable. I hope DD does not see this picture!

I have not seen them yet. We got a Polar Bear last year, everyone else seemed to have the deer, and we wanted something different.

I do not have all my outdoor stuff up and ready yet but here are my indoor lighting pics...

Showoff! ;) (Just kidding)

THAT IS AWESOME! Is that your house? Wow!

:worship: I bow before the master...

If that's really your house.....how long did it take to put up all those lights and coordinate the music and everything?

That is really our house but the lights are courtesy of some guy named Osborne. ;)

The images were created in Photoshop and the show was put together with ProShow Gold. It took about a week of evenings but at least I didn't have to climb any ladders in the cold. :)

bobquincy - that is fabulous!! I just love these sorts of things! Thanks for sharing with us. I hope you don't mind if I forward it on to some like-minded people...??

Thanks
Heather

No problem, sharing is in the Christmas spirit! ;)
I was going to post it on YouTube or Google but the music is copyrighted and that might cause some issues.

This one is not of my house but one that is near by... Just took it tonight. This shot only shows about 2/3's of the display! was pretty cool!

Wow, I love them all. We just put up our little tree tonight... it's only 6 feet tall and rather slim but I like it.

We were not going to "do" Christmas this year since we are in a period of transition but I couldn't resist so here's our tree/lights...

The Walt Disney World Tree, it's got mini Mickey head ornaments, the Story Book set of the characters on the Magic Kingdom rides and a few WDW ornaments. It's done in red/gold/silver and underneath is a basket of yummy smelling cinnamon pine cones.

Our "Disney Room" and our WDW Tree on the left. :teeth:
