Wow!! These "before / after" shots are really amazing. I'm so jealous :thumbsup2 .

When you guys talk about the different settings, I'm lost. I really wish I could get a better understanding of all the settings :confused3

Hoping to see more photos!

Have you gotten a copy of Understanding Exposure yet? This should help.

Let's see some of your shots!

Hopefully I'll come back with some good ones. I leave in 5 days, so I'll do my best! Thanks for the tip on the book. I'll definitely pick one up.

Yeah, I know it's an old thread, but I thought it would be fun to bring it back from the dead.

I've always had an SLR. My first two trips, they were only SLRs. My first trip, I'd had the film camera for about 6 years, and had never really taken it off the little green automatic triangle. Before my second trip, I'd taken a little photography course and then bought a cheap tripod to take with my. Then little by little, I started learning more and more. Now I follow around a wedding photographer and carry her stuff for her to learn more.

2012 Eos 60d For these two I used whatever I could find to hold the camera, bridge railings and garbage cans!

What do you think? I still have lots of room to grow, and I plan to keep my camera for a while and learn how to use it all the way!::yes::
