help please! I need a show and tell item for my 5 yr old for school tomorrow. Only thing I can think of is a nickel, and not sure if that is good for 5 yr old. LOL
thank you all for the great suggestions. I think were going to go with a nail or news paper. The nose is a great idea, if we still had our mr potato head pieces.
I book marked that one dictionary site for next time i am stumped.
Get this...my 4 year old daughter has the letter X for her school show and tell and even better there are 3 kids who do the same letter each week and she is the last one that week. So I am guessing that she will be the third child to bring in a xylephone--assuming that we even still have one hidden in the basement! That is unless I can get my hands on an x-ray!!

Last time she had Show and Tell her letter was O. Not too bad I thought. We have a beanie babie Octopus-we are good to go. No...the darling 4 year old wanted something different. We spent what seemed like hours walking through the house her asking me 'Does that start with 'O'" and me having to tell her 'No..that starts with (fill in the blank)'. Finally she found a Christmas ornament that I had left out from packing the tree up. I started to say 'No' but then I realized...she had found one I had never even thought of!!! Way to go kid!!
I think the whole Show and tell letter thing is a bit stressful (to me anyways--she loves it!)! At my daughters school not only do they have to bring in the item...they have to give three clues so the other kids can maybe guess it! Yikes!
