Show me your Mk Bridal Shoot Photos

I was wondering if any of you would be willing to share the photos of your bridal shoot at Mk. I am pretty sure I want to have this done but I haven't really had the chance to see many actual examples of the photos. I would really appreciate it.

My photos were taken on the day before my custom vow renewal. I didn't bother having my hair or makeup done, nor did I want a bouquet. I simply wanted a few photos of my husband & I in front of the castle. I thought they would be very fun photos to hand down through the generations.

OMG, they look great!! Thanks so much for sharing them. Is that a picture of you and hubby by Haunted Mansion?? I really want to get the chance to take some photos there. As people have previously stated, most of these pics are taken from a distance so its not like you can really tell the detail of hair and makeup. I love them!! Thanks again for sharing!

Cinderbear, your photos are amazing. When was your wedding?? We are planning our vow renewal for Dec 2008 so it was nice to see the photos of Mk with the Christmas decorations. Did you use an outside photographer for the actual event?? Thanks for sharing.

Miniefan, yes, we had a couple of photos taken at the Haunted Mansion. If you are interested in this venue, let the FTW folks know ahead of time. Sometimes photos in certain venues can't be taken for reasons that are known only to Disney. If there is an issue with this venue for your particular photo session, you will be informed of it.

As to my photo session, our photographer didn't want to take us there. He explained that there is no external lighting and thus we would have to hold very still for quite a long period of time so that enough light could gather together inside the camera in order for our photo to turn out. He also told us that bugs were bad in that location, and, boy, was he ever right. We were literally eaten alive by mosquitoes. It was horrid. ~Shudder~

Our photographer adjusted the camera's shutter-speed and aperture with each passing photo and thus the last photo appears the brightest. All in all, I'm pleased with the photos. You can see them in a larger size if you go to my photo album (link given in a prior post).

My wedding was 12/27/07, and I planned the wedding to be Christmas week to get that real Disney holiday feeling. I've never been to Disney over Christmas before but now we plan to go back for our anniversary every year. It's a beautiful time of the year at Disney, everything is decorated everyone has that Christmas spirit. Your VR will be beautiful. I did use an outside photographer for the wedding. I used Misty Miotto, her work is fabulous and she has good pricing as well. Wonderful pictures. We are planning a wedding this November and I was wondering if the new Christmas lights were on the castle when your photos were taken. We were down in WDW this past November and although the lights look beautiful lite at night, I am not sure how they would show up in the MK shoot. It doesn't look like you can see them in your photos of the castle.

Thanks for your replies and sharing your photos, thoughts and advice. I am really glad that I chose December for our vow renewal, everything seems so bright and cheerful and beautifully decorated, I really wanted our vow renewal to have a wonderful holiday magical feeling to it and I think it definitely will. I just wish that you could do your Mk photo shoot with the new Ice lights on.
