Show me YOUR Formalwear!

I think you'd look great in all of them Lora. :faint:

You know, I may need to reschedule our April '05 cruise to when you go.....just so I can see what you decided on. :rolleyes1

I think they would all be appropriate for formal night except the 3rd. I think Id save that for semiformal night if you really wanted that one.

For my personal likes I would go with 1, 2 or 6. :)

Do people get this dressed up on the 4-night Wonder cruise? There really isn't a "formal" night per se, right? This is the 7-night you're talking about, right?

What to do!!?? :confused3 LOL, it shouldn't be this difficult...it's a cruise for crying out loud!!

So, what is it? Do women wear dressy gowns on the 4-night or is it much less formal? Would my "little black dress" cut it, or am I in need of some serious shopping before February 27th??? (Not that that's necessarily a bad thing... :p )

No people dont usually get that dressed up on the shorter cruises as there is no formal night. Just your night in Tritons is a little dressier. A little black dress would be perfect for Tritons. Ive never seen any gowns and only 1 tux on 2 different shorter cruises. The majority I saw in Tritons were in cocktail dresses and suits or sports coats.

I like the first two dresses the best!

Thanks CamColt!!! Feeling better...now if I can just convince DH that he wants to wear a suit...

 Anyone know a good hypnotist? :rotfl2:

I think the first dress is my favorite, but I really like both of the red dresses as well - very pretty.

Good luck choosing!

I love #1 and #7. I wish we were going on the 7 night now so I could get a new sexy dress. I can see me now hair blowing in the wind chasing all three kids up and down the deck what a sight :rotfl2:

I liked the first red dress the best. DH liked the 1st dress the best.

Bottom one. The black and white long thing is too prom-y. The rest too "buy me a drink."

I like the 2nd dress the best. My second choice for you would be the 1st dress. I'm sure that you are good and confused by now with all these different opinions! Happy choosing! :teeth:

Does anyone get cold wearing no sleeves? How's the temp in the dinning room? I tend to get cold very easy. (and where did you find those dresses? nice selection..I can see why you are having a hard time deciding!)

pppiglet: I also get cold very easily and occasionally felt the dining rooms were a little chilly. I brought a white shawl, a lightweight white sweater and a black shawl with me and always took one of them with me to dinner or the theater (whichever went best with my outfit). I carefully chose the shawls and sweater since they were very compact and the black one was actually quite dressy.

It is often cold in the diningrooms and I'm never sleeveless.

OMGosh yes I am overwhelmed by all the conflicting opinions! :D But it's fun deciding, huh? The dresses are all from Carabella.com, I love their stuff. Thanks everyone for playing!
