Usually we've had someone make this thread by now. So lets see you holiday photo's from this year. Be it your recent trip to Disney or your own holiday decorations and/or portraits or holiday decorations from your local city/town.

We've had some great images in past years from this forum. Lets see what we can do this year.

I'll start this one off.

Took this today of the kids. They were very cooperative. :thumbsup2

I haven't gotten around to taking up close and personal pictures of the tree yet. I'll do that sometime this week.

Great shot of your kids, Kyle - they're adorable!:thumbsup2

Well, it's your own fault - you asked for pictures, so here we go. DH and I took a vac day on Friday. In the evening, we went to see DS18 perform with his college stage band in their Christmas concert. But in the morning, we went to Phipps Conservatory here in Pittsburgh to see the Winter Flower Show. I've seen the spring flower show quite a few times, but I've never seen the winter show. Enjoy!

I just thought this guy was so cute!

All of the critters were made from plants/twigs, etc., like this polar bear:

And penguin:

This mouse was my favorite, cooking up some goodies:

And check out the baked goods on his tree:

Here are some that I took over the past few days. I am a fanatic when it comes to Christmas, so I will definitely have more...especially once our tree is decorated, it's my pride and joy. :goodvibes

1. Our Christmas tree coming home on Saturday - Colorado Blue Spruce that was originally about 14 feet, cut down by DH to 8 feet to fit into our living room.

2. The wreath hanging on our front door.

3. Taking some shots for use on a Christmas card for a friend of a friend.

We went black and white this year for the card because my daughter hates color flash pictures of herself. I tried to go no flash with my sigma 30mm lens but I just wasn't happy with the results so I went with the flash picture. :thumbsup2 I probably should have cloned out the lights in the window. Oh well.

Very Cute!

I love these...I will need to try something like this with my 50mm 1.4 to see if it draws in the right amount of light. Thanks for the idea.

I thought the same thing myself.
