Show Me: Strangest Animal Photos!

Whaasssssupp??????? :lmao:

Louie the lizard from the Budweiser ads - not sure if they did it in the US, but over here in the UK 'whassssssuppppp' became a trademark saying, followed by a national craze. for a time, everyone was screamin 'wasssuppp' at each other as loud as possible by way of greeting.... :teeth:

Interestingly (excuse me while i wander off topic), Louie never said it himself until after the original advert - a guy with an afro screamed it down a phone, tongue waggling out (you can picture a schoolyard full of kids doing this), and the guy at the other end would just say "true" when he finished..... Louie said it in another advert and was promptly ridiculed by his other lizard companion. Since then, the lizard has been associated with it over here. :confused3

since it's macro week, here is the eye of a southern leaf-tailed gecko who is about 4 inches long. this one is using a 85mm with a reversed 50mm.

Great macro photo! However, I still like the giraffe with the OOF SOH as the background. That picture is marvelous!

Yep, same thing here in the States. I believe the commercial you reference was first aired during one of the Super Bowls. I still love the Louie and Frankie commercials better. I have most of thier commercials downloaded on the computer, the sound bits,,, gutta love "Club Louie".
