I just got a rather interesting book called "The Imagineering Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom", and "propping" is referred to quite a bit.
If I am allowed to quote an excerpt from page 33 of the book, "...Prop Design gives the real sense of life to a space. The props tell us so much about when this is, who lives here, and what they do. A space without propping feels vacant and uninteresting. If we don't believe that anyone lives here, it's hard to feel caught up in their story."
Obviously the props are very important to creating the atmosphere. Show me examples of 'propping' at any of the Disney Parks. It's everywhere, so show me what you got!
