We can't plan on the next one just yet. So we'll have to take our chances that there will still be good pricing available when/if we're able to book!

China's just getting too close for us now...we don't know when we're going, of course, but I can't plan that far in advance right now. I've always felt that 2009-2010 would be when we'd be going to get our daughter...so the next podcast cruise will have to wait until we know when we might expect to get the call!

Awww...thanks! We truly have no idea when we will get our referral as we've already been waiting for 2 years...but i'm hopeful that we'll get to China by the end of next year! It may not happen, but my heart's telling me 2010...

No, I'm not getting an iPhone, BUT........

I AM beginning to get a complex. No podcast cruise #1 because I am a teacher and have no break/vacation days then. No June DLR surprise because school lets out JUNE 19 (yes, just a few days AFTER the "big day" GRRR!). Now, no podcast cruise #2 because I'll be still in school and our break is the week after! Agggh! Maybe I picked the wrong profession, too???!

No, really. I honestly understand that it is impossible to please everyone's schedule. I hope you all have a fabulous time. Thanks to the podcast crew for being so open and organizing these awesome events for everyone.

Maybe I can ease your confusion.

As you can imagine, choosing a date can be extremely difficult. Pleasing everyone is impossible.

If you look at the thread at the top of the Dis Unplugged board, the majority said that price was the most important factor. The December date is the lowest pricing during all of 2010.

You also have to keep in mind that availability is an issue.

If your kids are out of school, you are looking at double or even triple the price and crowded ships. This offers far less flexibility.

We looked at June, July and August and they are just ridiculously priced. As we asked your opinion and the majority said lower prices, we went with that. Had we picked summer dates and the cost was three times as high, we would have people ask us if we were crazy.

I'm sorry this doesnt work for you.

Just got off the phone with Disney. We have something else MAJOR to announce on the podcast cruise. I'm sliding off my chair I'm so excited about this!!! Some of you might want to think about being out in California during the week of June 15th. That's all I'm going to say right now. OMG!!!!

Come hot places or high water I am SO GOING on that cruise!! After the completely rotten horrible nightmare of a year this has been for me, a cruise will be WELL EARNED!!

I don't plan on being in DL the week of June 15th but I live 423 miles away, I can be there in 6 hours!

Hmmmm. We were planning to go to WDW for two weeks in Sept 2010...perhaps I can convince DH to delay the trip to wait until December and we throw in the cruise, too! December is my most favorite time at WDW and we had a blast cruising in December, too! Should be a fairly easy sell...
