I have 2 one-day tickets purchased last year for the free MYW dining. I was just reading on Mousesavers that for around $50 you could add 3 water park or PI/DQ admissions to the ticket. My question is about when those extra admissions would expire. I know once the major park admission has been used it expires 14 days later. But when does the clock start ticking if we use the admissions at the water parks first? And save the park admission perhaps to upgrade next time we buy an AP.

What you would be in fact doing is making the one day base ticket that you got with the package into a one day base plus WPF&M ticket. Wonder why Disney doesn't have a cutesy name for that? You add the WPF&M option to the ticket and it's $50 + tax. You get three plus options.

But on the down side from the way I read your question, the entire ticket is only good for 14 days from first use of the ticket at any gate, theme park or minor park. Your clock starts ticking then. So you cannot save the theme park admission until next year under that scenario. And you can't add no expiration to that ticket either.

If you upgraded it to a one day premium (base + PH + WPF&M), you can add the no expiration option to the ticket. Then you could use the plus options this year and the theme park admission next year. Total to upgrade your one day base to that would be in the $100 range.

Thanks for the info. I think it stays more valuable for me as a one day ticket to use as a credit for a future AP. I do appreciate your answer
